Spirit completed a total of four runs in front of DARPA representatives, during its 2005 DARPA Site Visit. During each run, the autonomous vehicle drove over every waypoint and never left the route's staked boundary. Spirit successfully drove over a total of 58 waypoints, while avoiding dynamically DARPA placed obstacles. She avoided all obstacles during four autonomous vehicle demonstration runs. |
